Winter Freeze XV at Screven kicks off new era for Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series
The Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series will kick off it's inaugural season with a visit to Screven Motorsports Complex on February 7th and 8th.
Thursday, Feb 6 - Open practice 6 pm - 10 pm
Pit Gates open at 2 PM
Pit Passes: $25 Adults / $10 Kids 6 and under
Friday, Feb 7 - Night One
Pit Gates open at 2 PM
Grandstand Gates open at 5 PM
Drivers Meeting at 5:30 PM
Hot Laps at 6 PM

New insurance regulations and rules from the GA Fire Marshal we will now require everyone to purchase a permit. No free ones for racers as in years past. You can purchase a one event permit for $25 or you can purchase the yearly permit for $40. These are purchased at the pit gate when you arrive. Any of these vehicles without a permit will be asked to leave or purchase one at double the price. And we will have agents actively patrolling the grounds looking for these specifically. NO ONE UNDER 15 is allowed to drive these vehicles on Screven Motor Speedway property. Anyone underage will be parked and MAY cause the rider and their guardian to be asked to leave the property. This is serious and we expect it to be taken that way.
Inside Camping is $150 for the event
NEW RULES FOR 2025 - No EXCEPTIONS PLEASE DON'T ASK
All campers / RVs must park in DESIGNATED SPACES ONLY.
All campers / RVs must be parked PARALLEL to the DRAG STRIP FENCE or the FENCE alongside Union Church Road. No campers / RVs parked in or beside pit stall spots except for tow rigs. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to these rules as they are mandated by Fire Marshal and our insurance company. If you cannot abide by these rules please don't bring a camper. Anyone in violation will be asked to leave without refund. ANYONE who is staying overnight will be required to purchase the multi-day pass. NO OPEN FIRES - Must be contained in a fire pit or barrel. As always you can camp in a tent in your pit stall or inside of your race trailer at your own risk. There is plenty of FREE camping available in the camping area which is adjacent to the track on Union Church Road. Neither camping area has any hookups. So bring a generator if you need power and fill your water as needed before arriving please. Winter Freeze Asphalt Parking sales are now open. There are 40 spots available. There will be no saving of spots. If you want to park with someone, you must arrive together as haulers will be parked as you arrive. If you leave the spot after parking - saving it will be up to you. Spots are $150 for the weekend and must be paid prior to parking. Parking pass will be distributed at the gate. All rigs without the parking pass will be towed.
