Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series headlines Fourth of July special at Tazewell Speedway

WOODRUFF, SC (June 29th, 2025) – The high-banked Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway plays host to the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series this Friday night for the seventh-running of the Melvin Corum Memorial. In the tour's lone appearance at Tazewell this season, a $7,500 winner’s purse is up for grabs for Super Late Model drivers.

• Pit Gates Open at 3PM
• Grandstand Gates Open at 5PM
• Drivers Meeting at 7PM
• Hot Laps at 7:30PM
• $7,500-to-win show for Southern Thunder™ Super Late Models–Hot Laps, Time Trials, Last Chance Races, 50-Lap Feature.

Admission Details:

• Grandstands: $25 for adults; kids 9 and under FREE
• Pit Admission: $40 for adults; kids 12 and under $30

Joining the Southern Thunder™ Super Dirt Series on the undercard will be… Sportsman Late Models ($800), Classic Car ($500), and Street Stock ($500).
