Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series
Bonus Money up for grabs in doubleheader at Penton Raceway and Talladega Short Track
Woodruff, S.C. (July 15th, 2025) – Rolling into the tour's busiest stretch of the year, the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series will kick off a late-July weekend at Penton (Ala.) Raceway on Friday, July 25th, for the $10,000-to-win David Brackett & Danny Carswell Memorial. Track sponsors have put up extra money for the winner's purse and positions second through fifth. On Saturday, July 26th, the series will make its long-awaited debut at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the Alfred Gurley Memorial. A pair of 25-lap features headline the night which pay $2,525 each to the winners. The winner of the first feature will pill draw a Zero, Four, or Six for invert to start the second feature.
