Rain forces cancellation of Southern Thunder stop at Tri-County Racetrack
WOODRUFF, SC (August 20th, 2025) – Officials with the Southern Thunder™ Super Dirt Series (STSDS) have announced the cancellation of the August 22 event at Tri-County Racetrack in Brasstown, N.C., originally scheduled for this Friday evening. Due to unforeseen circumstances, including pending weather over the next few days and several other factors, Tri-County Racetrack stated, “It has become impossible for us to move forward this week while delivering the high-quality event our racers deserve.” We look forward to returning to Tri-County Racetrack in the future.
The Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series is set to return to action on September 12th and 13th with back-to-back events at Crossville Speedway and North Alabama Speedway.
