Redemption for Cory Hedgecock in Red Farmer Tribute at Talladega Short Track

Eastaboga, Ala. (October 18, 2025) – After a pre-race miscue cost him a shot at the checkered flag Friday night, Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn., found redemption in Saturday's finale at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.), capturing the win in the Red Farmer Tribute.

Hedgecock started on the outside pole and led flag-to-flag in the Red Farmer Tribute event, securing his fourth career victory with the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series.

Cory added another STSDS victory to his resume, having previously won at Smoky Mountain Speedway, North Georgia Speedway, and Senoia Raceway. He has won four out of the last five series events.

Trey Mills and Dalton Cook once again shared the podium, but this time swapped positions from Friday’s event, with Cook finishing second and Mills third. Friday night’s winner, Zack Mitchell, finished sixth in the weekend finale.
