Seawright scores $10,000 Southern Thunder victory in Clarksville Speedway’s Final Farewell

Clarksville, Tenn. (November 8, 2025) – Closing out the final chapter at the storied facility, Sam Seawright captured the last Super Late Model feature victory at Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway on Saturday night with the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series. Seawright fended off an early challenge from Cory Hedgecock in the 50-lap main event and pulled away on the final restart to claim the $10,000 victory. Leading all 50 laps, Sam secured his ninth win of the season and his first career checkered flag with the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series.

Josh Putnam and Cory Hedgecock made up the podium while Jadon Frame and Jason Riggs completed the Top-5 in the season finale event. Dalton Cook was officially crowned the 2025 champion of the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series.
