Waycross Motor Speedway to host Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series non-points event on January 17

WOODRUFF, S.C. (12/9/25) – Adding a second non-points event to its winter slate, the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series (STSDS) has announced its first-ever visit to Waycross (Ga.) Motor Speedway on Saturday, January 17. The one-day program will feature qualifying, heat races, b-mains, and a $7,500-to-win main event for Super Late Model competitors.

Following the 35th annual Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on January 2–3, the Waycross show will serve as the tour’s second non-points event of the season. Details regarding the 2026 points season for the STSDS will be announced in the near future.
