Seawright earns second Ice Bowl triumph with Southern Thunder at Talladega Short Track
Eastaboga, Ala. (January 3, 2025) – Sam Seawright of Fort Payne, Ala., captured his second career Ice Bowl victory on Saturday evening, outpacing Dalton Cook to the checkered flag. With wins in both 2025 and 2026, Seawright has now earned back-to-back triumphs in the prestigious event. The win also marked Seawright’s first career triumph with the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series.
2025 series champion Dalton Cook took runner-up honors, and Michael Page rounded out the podium in FK Rod Ends Victory Lane. Mario Gresham and Dillard Hatchett completed the top five.
